To Grow Commercial Site Work Division

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the commercial construction field.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Must be able to lead and direct crew, equipment and resources through projects, from sub grade preparation to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed to site specifications.
  • Coordinate with office staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Operate heavy equipment or other manual construction duties as necessary.
  • Be able to delegate tasks as necessary.
  • Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety policy.


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • CDL B Drivers License

We are looking for an experienced inside sales rep who wants to start a career with a stable, expanding wholesale landscape company. There is long-term growth potential in this position.

Job Duties

  • Outbound calls to promote services and explain products
  • Handle incoming calls from clients and upsell products
  • Build relationships with clients
  • Develop and maintain new and existing accounts


  • Excellent communication skills with good phone etiquette
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be comfortable making cold calls
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Familiarity with CRM programs
  • Able to work 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Specific duties

  • Cold calls and obtaining and organizing info obtained in CRM program. (Zoho)
  • E-mail blasts on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule to Contractors, municipalities
  • Constantly monitor and change website, brochures, road reader board, e-mail literature
  • Daily review of job reports: Construction summary, bid clerk and several other state reports to obtain jobs or sales to jobs that could use our materials.
  • Market to and work with engineering & architectural firms to push our hard goods products and make them aware of our specialty soils such as bio-retention soils, compost etc…
  • Constantly contact develop and maintain relationships with local and state municipalities to not only sell our products but obtain long-term sourcing for brush grinding and composting
  • Keep existing staff aware of new campaigns and location of marketing literature in the computer for e-mailing purposes
  • Take daily photos of product production at our facility, products we sell used in landscape, staff etc…
  • Always look for new products Dirt Doctors can sell using existing resources.
Customer Service Is Always Our Number One Priority. Candidates should be self-sufficient, energetic and highly motivated.  This position requires the ability to multi-task in an ever-changing, fast-paced team environment. Primary job responsibilities are below but other duties may be assigned as needed.

Retail / Wholesale Sales

  • Assist all retail and wholesale customers w/ material purchases including aggregates, mulch, loam, wall stones, pavers, granite products, and any/all landscape materials.
  • Customer files and reports
  • Processing retail/wholesale sales through the computer as necessary


  • Assist with website recommendations
  • Assist with monthly promotions, newsletters, and additional marketing ideas
  • Market products utilizing a variety of internet applications, i.e. Yahoo, Facebook, Instagram. Twitter, Yext, Linkedin, etc
  • Ability to oversee and assist with each year marketing campaigns; brochures, mailers, trade shows, and other new ideas such as clinics and/or workshops.

Office Duties

  • Thorough knowledge of computer, POS System, Network, and computer set-up.
  • Office Organization: supplies, phone system, literature, customer, and vendor files.
